- CHOOSE START
- CHOOSE RUN
- TYPE “MSCONFIG” IN COMMAND BOX, PRESS ENTER KEY
- CHOOSE SYSTEM.INI TAB
- CHOOSE “386enh”(CLICK ON “+” NEXT TO IT)
- ADD A NEW LINE: “pervmfiles=200”
When you apply this change and exit MSCONFIG, Windows should tell you to restart to make the change effective.
